Currently he is working as Vice Principal & Prof. in Computer Science & Engineering. He obtained B.E degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering   in 1986 and M.Tech in Power System from University of Mysore in 1996. He obtained Ph.D degree from University of Mysore in 2006. His area of interest includes Digital Image processing, Pattern recognition, Natural Language Processing and Data Mining, He has 26 years of teaching and 9 years of research experience and published 86 Research papers in National / International Journals and conferences. He is the recipient of N.I.E Silver jubilee gold medal in M.Tech and Dr. Rajendra Prasad award by “International Eminent Educationists Forum” New Delhi, He has guided five Research Scholars for Doctoral Degree. He is member of various professional bodies like CSI, ISTE, IE, ISRS, IACSIT.
