Currently working as dean R&D and professor in the Dept of Computer Science and Engineering. Earlier he worked in Jodhpur University(1980-86) as assistant professor, IISc (1987-91) as Post doctoral fellow, Poona University(1991-92) as associate professor, North Maharastra university(1992-98) as associate professor and VTU affiliated colleges like SJCIT Chikkaballapur, BMSCE Bangalore, SCT Bangalore, DBIT, DSCE, as professor in the department of mathematics/CSE/MCA. He did his M.Sc in Mysuru university, Ph.D from jodhpur university &Post doctoral work at IISc Bangalore. He published more than 200 research papers, and guided 25 Ph.D scholars in the area of CSE.
