Prof. B. Roopashri Tantri is working as professor in the department of Computer Science & Engineering. She obtained her M. Tech degree from NITK Surathkal and carried out her M. Tech project at Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. She is currently pursuing Ph D at NITK Surathkal in the area of Software Reliability. She has more than 20 years of teaching experience. Her interests include reliability engineering, operations research, system simulation and theoretical computer science. She has keen interest in research and has published several papers in the national and international conferences in India and abroad and has chaired several conference sessions including the one in Singapore. Some of her conference papers are presented in countries like Singapore, Japan and Paris. She has also published many research articles in reputed international journals. She is a member of ISTE and IEEE and holds the position of IEEE SSIT ES Joint Bangalore chapter for two continuous terms. Prof Tantri is actively involved in IEEE activities of Bangalore chapter and student branch of NCET.
